Greg provides Hyde Park with deep entrepreneurial and growth-phase management experience, with nearly a 20-year track record of building and scaling restaurant businesses, including Five Guys, Dunkin’ Donuts, and The Taco Truck. Over the last 15 years, Greg has helped build Hyde Park Ventures into a Top 200 restaurant group with returns well above the corporate average. More recently, Greg has been leading Hyde Park’s newest growth venture, Smith Mechanical (SMITH), an HVAC/R commercial services company specializing in the multi-unit hospitality sector. Greg and the SMITH leadership team have grown the business almost 2500% in just three years, making it the premier restaurant HVAC/R service company in ME, RI, and MA. Prior to co-founding Hyde Park, Greg worked on UN policy at the US Department of State and in NYC. He received his MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and his BA from Hamilton College.
Jody is a seasoned entrepreneur and executive with over 20 years of leadership experience in consulting, investment banking, technology, and hospitality. As Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Hyde Park Ventures, he oversees the second-largest Five Guys franchise in the U.S., managing 1,300+ employees across seven states. He is also a co-founder of Smith Mechanical Services, a leading HVAC and refrigeration services company servicing commercial clients across New England. Prior to co- founding Hyde Park Ventures, he served as Vice President of Corporate Development and Product at RetailMeNot (NASDAQ: SALE), Associate Director at UBS Investment Bank's Technology, Media; Telecom Group in New York, and Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton in Washington, DC. Jody also currently serves as an officer in the US Navy Reserve. Jody lives in Austin, TX with his beautiful wife and three children. He holds an MBA from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business and a BA from the University of Pennsylvania, where he played lacrosse. He is a member of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO) in Austin and the Clements Center for National Security at The University of Texas.
Michael Lane is a seasoned restaurant operations executive with over 20 years of progressive leadership experience. Currently overseeing 59 locations across multiple states, he is known for building high-performing teams, driving financial results, and cultivating strong organizational culture. Michael has a proven track record of turning underperforming markets around, executing successful new store openings, and implementing scalable systems in areas such as training, labor, and cost control. With a deep background in both corporate and franchise operations, he brings a strategic yet hands-on approach to leadership. Michael lives in Bellingham, MA with his family and enjoys travel, golf, and cheering on the New England Patriots.
Quinten Jordan is a dynamic leader with over 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, currently serving as the Director of the People Department at Hyde Park. He studied Culinary Arts at the New York Restaurant School and holds a degree in secondary education from SUNY Albany. This is Quinten's second term with Five Guys, after successfully serving as a District Manager over a decade ago. He played a key role in the expansion of the Cleveland Airport's culinary footprint as the Airport Director with Skyport Hospitality. With a strong commitment to excellence and a proven track record, Quinten continues to make a significant impact in the industry
Originally from South Africa, Michelle recently relocated to the United States with her husband and young daughter – marking the beginning of a new adventure, both professionally and personally. She spent 10 years in the automotive industry, working for a leading international corporation. Following that, she channeled her entrepreneurial spirit into running her own manufacturing business for 19 years – an experience that taught her the value of resilience, leadership and innovation. Michelle brings with her a global perspective, a deep appreciation for people and culture, and a passion for building strong, purpose-driven teams.
With over 15 years of experience in public and private accounting, Brad has provided assurance, accounting and consulting services specific to restaurants. Brad is the founding member of BTBK and has extensive experience in the restaurant industry. This includes six years at a national accounting firm focusing on assurance services for Franchisor’s and Franchisees, as well as five years as the CFO of a 40 unit Quick Service Franchisor and over five years as a business owner. Brad is a Certified Public Accountant and member of the WICPA and AICPA.
